Prawn Sambal | Sambal Udang

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg prawn, removed the shell, leave the tail.
  • 4 tbs oil
  • 400 ml thick coconut milk
  • 2 tsp lime squash

Finely Pounded Spices into Paste:

  • 10 big red chili
  • 5 candlenut
  • 8 shallot
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp whole pepper
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 cm turmeric
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 tsp fried/roasted shrimp paste
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

How To:

  • Saute spices paste untill fragrant and cooked well.
  • Add prawn, stir until red.
  • Pour coconut milk and lime squash.
  • Cook with small heat until boiled and thickened
  • Ready to serve
